this panel is really fucking scary, and it’s for one obvious reason:
the retcons that Caliborn makes are going into effect in Homestuck from here on out, and it is having an effect on the comic as a whole
there are gaps in the memories of the players:
as the retcons go into effect as caliborn alters the storyline, the characters, under the influence of a terrible storyteller, find gaps in their own memories as the canon is altered
long story short: the more caliborn fucks with the canon, the more difficult our heroes will find their task
didn’t john touch the plot hole and get zapped into everywhere and nowhere at once? that is probably why he is gone, right? i don’t think caliborn is responsible for that.
He got better.Seriously, I don’t know why people are making all these theories about what happened to John when the flash shows Jane clobbering him? She probably just captured him, and the memory loss isn’t Caliborn’s parodies intruding on the storyline, its that he shoved a bunch of shit into the game cartridge which caused glitches.
oh? i need to give it a closer look, then…
i agree, everyone is missing stuff left and right, myself included :I but i REALLY don’t think Caliborn messing with the plot killed off john.
